LET'S FALL IN LOVE I have a feeling, it's a feeling I'm concealing, I don't know why It's just a mental, sentimental alibi But I adore you So strong for you Why go on stalling I am falling Our love is calling Why be shy? Let's fall in love Why shouldn't we fall in love? Our hearts are made of it Let's take a chance Why be afraid of it? Let's close our eyes and make our own paradise Little we know of it, still we can try To make a go of it We might have an end for each other To be or not to be Let our hearts discover Let's fall in love Why shouldn't we fall in love? Now is the time for it, while we are young Let's fall in love We might have an end for each other To be or not to be Let our hearts discover Let's fall in love Why shouldn't we fall in love? Now is the time for it, while we are young Let's fall in love Let's fall in love Let's fall in love Let's fall in love

Blue Room 08:57
BLUE ROOM We'll have a blue room A new room for two room Where every day's a holiday Because you're married to me. Not like a ballroom A small room, a hall room Where I can smoke my pipe away With your wee head upon my knee. We will thrive on, keep alive on Just nothing but kisses With mister and missus On little blue chairs. You sew your trousseau And Robinson Crusoe Is not so far from worldly cares As our blue room far away upstairs!

C'est Si Bon 08:31
C'EST SI BON (Louis Armstrong version) C'est si bon Lovers say that in france When they thrill to romance It means that itґs so good Cґest si bon So I say to you Like the french people do Because itґs oh so good. Every word, every sigh, every kiss, dear, Leads to only one thought And the thought is this, dear! Cґest si bon Nothing else can replace Just your slyest embrace And if you only would Be my own for the rest of my days I will whisper this phrase My darling, my darling... C'est si bon!

about

"A Kind of Luois" is an unpublished CD that comes out today on the first on Bandcamp.
Recorded in 2013 together with Daniele Tione on the piano, it is a tribute to one of the greatest jazz musicians of all time: Louis Armstrong.
We faced some songs taken from his repertoire, trying to reinterpret them and personalize them, but we also wanted to insert one of our little personal tribute (track #6) through a free improvisation, inspired by one of his most famous battle horses and where we added , in the queue, a very small gem ...
______________________________________________________

The encounter between Alberto Mandarini (Trumpet/Flugelhorn) and Daniele Tione (Piano) has been occasioned from the exhibition of a comic biography of the beloved and famous trumpeter Louis Armstrong, signed by comic-strip artist Philip Paquet, a new talent in the panorama of Belgian cartoonists.
The Duo marked this event with concerts opened by some of the most famous songs usually played and sung by Armstrong, first as a real tribute, then gradually adapting them to the stylistic choices of the Duo. It is precisely on these apparently antithetical assumptions that sound and repertoire took shape, both about the exposition of the themes (most of which are original) and on the development of improvisation, now attached to Afro American musical roots, now to the cliché of the European cultured music.

All tracks are in Waw format.
